This article summarises the features of the course completion by user group page under the 'Analytics' tab
The Course Completion by User Group report summarises your users' progress, shown by their user groups, per course. This report is useful to drill down to see which user groups are progressing in their learning, and which may be falling behind on overall progress.
Top tip: A user will be counted within the user group on this report once they have opened the course and the course is assigned to them. This means that the user has tapped on the course tile, even if no lessons have been completed.
When clicking through to the page, admins can see the number of users who have unlocked a course within the group and the number of completions of the groups.
Admins can also see a colourful progress bar for the average number of lessons completed within this course. If the colour is more on the green side of the spectrum, the average number of lessons complete is quite high or all lessons have been completed by all learners in the group. If the colour is more on the red side of the spectrum, the average number of lessons completed is relatively low or no lessons have been completed by all learners in the group. The total at the end of the page represents the total number of lessons within that course that are to be completed.
This report can be filtered by user group or course to aid the admin in the identification of certain information. This report can also be exported in order to give the admin the flexibility to use the data as they please, such as uploading it into third-party platforms.
When the report is downloaded via the “Export CSV” button in the top right-hand side of the page, you receive several additional fields:
- The number of users within the group;
- The number of users who have unlocked the course (it has been assigned to their user group, and they have had it on their app ready to complete);
- The number of users who have completed the course;
- The number of lessons in a course;
- The average number of lessons that have been completed in the course.
The Course Completion by User Group export has been formatted in this way to allow admins to use Excel functionalities, such as filtering and pivot tables on the report.
