Q: What is EdApp? 

EdApp is a microlearning based learning management system (LMS) with an integrated authoring tool, delivery app, rewards & analytics - all designed for today's digital habits on mobile and web. With features such as spaced repetition, gamification and push notifications, we make learning fun and engaging, which in turn helps improve retention and embed knowledge.

Q: How do I set up an account with EdApp? How do I get started?

Getting started with EdApp is quick and easy. You can access the the sign up link from within 'SafetyCulture' to create an EdApp account. After this you can follow our guide to Getting Started in 5min.

Q: I signed up for an EdApp account in the past, can I link this account to my SafetyCulture organization?

If you are the owner of the EdApp account, when you Enable EdApp for your organisation you will be given the option to link the existing account directly to your SafetyCulture organization. In some situations we aren't able to do this automatically. If you get an error message, reach out to us via live chat and we'll get you on your way.


Q: How many people in my team can I train? 

There is no limit to the number of our people in your teams you can train with EdApp. It's as simple as inviting users with an Invite Code.


Q: What if I’ve never created courses before?  

We have a great academy of resources available:, as well as free authoring drop-in sessions to guide you and your team on how to begin creating your microlessons in the EdApp authoring tool. Sessions will be run weekly by our expert instructional designers via Zoom across three timezones. EdApp has been designed to make creating courses for your team as easy as drag and drop. Q: What do I get with an EdApp account?

Q: Is there a free library for users who may not have a particular starting point?

You may pull any courseware you like from our content library. All courseware is free of cost, and you simply just click the 'Content Library' button from the Admin portal, or the '+' button from the mobile app to add courses to your own account.


Q: Is there a limit of courses you can import from the Content Library?

There is no limit on how many courses you may import from the Library. 


Q: Are 'In Partnership' courses from the Content Library not editable?

That’s correct. 'In Partnership' courses from the Content Library are not editable, but all other content is editable. 


Q: Do you have Professional Services?

Yes, we have onboarding, program management, and content production services available for our enterprise customers. 


Q: On average how long does it take an organization to get up and running with EdApp?

It varies based on your organization’s needs, but a program can launch as soon as a few weeks. Once you have some content created, it’s very simple to start launching it to your learners. We typically recommend two - three months for larger, more complex projects.


Q: Is there a limit to how many questions or slides can be in a lesson?

We do encourage you to keep it short to stick to the microlearning format, but there is no limit to how many questions or slides can be in a lesson.

Q: What is the cost per license post trial?

Following your trial, we have other subscription plans available. You can find those prices here: We also offer custom plans for enterprise customers.


Q: What happens to my courses when my trial is over?

Your courses will be deleted after 60 days if you choose to not continue.
