EdApp will be retiring as we have made all the features you know & love available within SC Training. To avoid disruption or data loss, you'll need to decide what you'd like to do next.
This page explains what your options are and how to move forward with confidence.
You will lose access to your EdApp account on March 31st. Select a pathway forward to keep your courses.
If you're on an EdApp Enterprise plan, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager to discuss your options, as they may differ from what is communicated on this page.
1. Start fresh with SafetyCulture
Don’t have a SafetyCulture account yet? We’ll create one for you and copy your EdApp courses across.
This moves courses only. Users and training data won’t be carried over.

2. Bring your EdApp courses into your existing SafetyCulture account
Already using SafetyCulture? We’ll copy your EdApp courses into your current account.
This will overwrite anything currently in the "Training" tab of your SafetyCulture account.
If that doesn’t sound right, talk to us before continuing.

3. End my EdApp account
If you’re moving to another platform, you can close your EdApp account.
What happens if you do nothing?
You will lose access to your EdApp account on March 31st. Take action today.
FAQs
What’s happening to EdApp?
Most of EdApp's features & functionality are now available in SafetyCulture, with a extra tools for frontline teams. As such we will be closing EdApp on March 31st.
Before then, you’ll need to choose what you’d like to do:

Copy your courses into SafetyCulture, or
-
End your EdApp account and move to another provider
If no action is taken, your EdApp account will close automatically.
What gets transferred when courses are copied?
When you copy courses:

✅ Courses (including quizzes and practical assessments) are transferred
- ✅ Branding (course tiles, logos, backgrounds) and styling (Custom CSS)

❌ Users are not transferred

❌ Groups are not transferred
-
❌ Progress and completion data are not transferred
This gives you a clean starting point to continue training in SafetyCulture.
Why can’t my users and training data be transferred?
Transferring users and historical training data requires additional setup and validation.
For this reason, full account transfers are not available on the Free plan. They’re supported only on eligible annual SafetyCulture plans.
I’m on the Free plan, can I still keep my users and data?
Yes, if you choose to upgrade. To transfer users and historical training data, you’ll need to sign up to a new annual SafetyCulture plan. You can explore plan options on our pricing page or talk with our team.
I already have a SafetyCulture account, what should I know?
If you copy courses into an existing SafetyCulture account:

Any content currently in the Training tab will be overwritten

This action cannot be undone
If you’re unsure, we recommend contacting us on support@edapp.com before submitting a transfer request.
What happens to my EdApp account after my courses are copied?
Once your courses are copied:

You and your users will no longer be able to access EdApp

All users, groups, and training data in EdApp will be deleted
What happens if I do nothing?
If no action is taken:

Your EdApp account will close on March 31

Access will be removed

All data will be permanently deleted
We recommend choosing your next step before this date.
Can I move to another provider instead?
Yes. If you decide to move elsewhere:

Your EdApp account will end on March 31

You will not be able to retrieve your courses, users, or data after this date
We recommend downloading all your courses, users, and data.
What’s different about SafetyCulture?
SafetyCulture brings training together with inspections, issue management, and reporting — all in one platform built for frontline teams.
Most of the platform is the same for admins and learners alike, however user management differs slightly with more control over access via seats & permissions. We also have discontinued our prizing and stars features.
