Our AI translation tool makes translating your courses into dozens of languages quick and simple. This post covers how to translate your courseware on EdApp.
Admins can easily translate lessons into 100+ different languages on a course level. Our tool boasts a 60-70% accuracy and can be found in the right-hand corner of your course screen, just look for the 3 dots, and choose ‘AI Translation’.
You’ll be able to choose from over 100 languages in the next screen, there’s also the option to link this course with the original version (English version).
What does this mean?
Admins are now able to link the translated version of a course to the original, which means your learners can access the content in whichever language their device is set to (provided this language is available in the linked translations), you won’t need to do anything other than link this version for it to be delivered to the learner automatically.
You’ll see the option to enable this in the image to the left, this will be ticked by default so you won’t have to do a thing!
How do I link a course?
Linking a course is easy, once you’ve created the translation, head over to the original version of the course (English version), you’ll note the number of languages available next to ‘Translated in’, select the ‘More’ tab, and you’ll see the following options to link:
Choose the ‘Link a course’ button, and your translated version of the course will appear, choose the course, and you’ll be prompted to choose the language this course is being delivered in, once you’ve chosen, hit ‘link this course’ and you’re all set!
Once you’ve linked all translations required, you’ll be able to view these here, next to the published and drafted option.
*Useful to note - When adding access rules, these will need to be set through the original version of the course and will apply to all linked translations.
